Fat Burning Furnace: The Burn’s Fat Nasty SecretsA lot of people who want to be in a good shape today still rely on long time aerobic exercise as their primary routine to burn the fat. Unfortunately, the recent studies have shown that this is a huge mistake.

As a fact, we could say that the complete aerobics explosion only some decades past was one of the health and fitness industry biggest mistakes. But why! There are a few reasons for that.

When we exercise at a reasonable rate for unlimited periods of time (by recommendation of our target heart rate), our body is burning fat during the exercise. It sounds good, but actually are the bad news.

Our brain sends a signal to our body to keep a certain amount of stored fat to be available for our next workout. We are really telling it that our body needs fat available to burn, because we will be doing the exercises again. As a result while we may be burning some fat during this exercise, after that when it is over, our body begins storing up some fat for the next workout. So, this is not what we are looking for in terms of maximum ability to burn the fat.

The second big concern with the reasonable rate aerobic exercise performed a few times per week is that it trains all parts of our body (muscles, heart, lungs, etc.) to become efficient. It also sounds good, but actually this is NOT so good for long term health. We are working only within our actual aerobic exercise limits, without improving our aerobic exercise capacity.

This is most important because our aerobic exercise capacity is what will be determined how our body will be responded in times of physical, mental and emotional stress. Reduction of our workout capacity will be reducing our long term health, not to mention a poor chance of burning fat.

Using this method, we can reverse these effects instead focusing on high power opposition training, with workouts for about 15-20 minutes 2-3 times per week, which are the good news!

These workouts will not burn a fat during the workout, but will burn carbohydrates, and will cause our body to use its fat stores to replenish the burned carbohydrates over the next 24 hours. This method will also increase our reserve capacity and as a result our ability to handle a stress and 24/7 fat burning, most important to long-term health and fitness. Great!
